At Wilderness Church, we believe that each and every Christian is called to missions. Whether it is
through prayer for those serving abroad, financial support or going on short- or long-term missions,
each and every person who calls Jesus their Lord and Savior is tasked with spreading the Gospel. Our goal is train, equip, partner with and be those who carry
the Word of God to every corner of the globe.
Love God, Love People, was Jesus’ most clear and compelling commandment and that echoes
throughout everything we do as Wilderness Church. In Matthew 28:18-20,
the last thing that Jesus told
His disciples was that “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to
me.  19  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  20  and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age.” It is this charge, empowered by Jesus’ promise to go with us, that
we carry forth; in our community, state, nation and world.

We support a number of missionaries through finances and prayer on a monthly basis.
Their missions include: combating human trafficking, training pastors and teachers, equipping fellow missionaries and serving college campuses, just to name a few. We stand with these great servants of our Lord and Savior Jesus, to help our darkened world, see His light and the life that it brings.

As the nature of some of these missions are sensitive,
we have chosen not to name them publicly.
