Who we are

We stand by broken hearts.

Pain, suffering and fear are overwhelming at times, but they do not have to be at the center of our stories. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, our stories can be rewritten. There is no sin too great or story too dark for Jesus to overcome. As a community of believers, we seek to live out the command found in Romans 12:15: Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

The vision of Wilderness Church is simple: Love God, Love People.  In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus summarizes the entire Law with these two commands. These simple, yet profound teachings are the catalyst for changing individual lives, our community and the world.
